FAQs

WHERE AND WHAT TIME DO I NEED TO BE DOWNTOWN? Live mannequins should present to their assigned location at 5:30 pm. If you are unsure of your assignment or where the business is located, please present to the Lamar County Chamber Of Commerce 8 W. Plaza in downtown Paris between 4:30-5:15 pm.

WHO CAN WALK IN THE ZOMBIE WALK? Anyone can volunteer. Just dress as a zombie! (professional costumes are not required.) You will meet at the corner of Lamar and North Main at 5 PM for lineup. It takes about 15 minutes to complete the walk from 5:30-5:45 PM. You are then free to enjoy the festivities!

WHAT CHARACTERS CAN I DRESS UP AS? We are always in need of volunteers for various costumes. We keep a pinned list of the already chosen characters and some that businesses chose, but need volunteers on our Facebook page. You can also email mannequinnight@yahoo.com with questions. Also be on the lookout for posts that specifically ask for characters.

AS A STUDENT, CAN I GET VOLUNTEER HOURS FOR PARTICIPATING? Absolutely! Whether you pose as a mannequin, walk in the Zombie Walk, or assist the event staff, you can get volunteer hours for various school clubs. Contact the point of contact for your district for more details.
